Alabama changes Football staff
Mal Moore announced today that Mike Shula will not be retained as its head football coach. Shula was fired after a 6-6 season that finished with three straight defeats, including a loss to state adversary Auburn.Shula, son of Pro Football Hall of Fame Coach Don Shula, spent 15 years as an NFL assistant before he took the Alabama job, but had no experience as a head coach or on a college staff. He then began his professional career which has had many ups and some downs.
For this season, the Crimson Tide is bowl-eligible, but it has not been resolved if the team will receive an invitation to a post-season bowl game.
Additionally, it is still unknown who will be the next team' Coach, we will need to wait on what the outcome will be once the new person takes charge.
